Alright, I bought a used Elka last year and it was setup for someone that weighed $250. At the time, I was around 220 with gear. So I figured it wouldn't matter much.

However, I have lost a lot of weight and now I am around 180 with gear. I have only ridden my quad once this year on any rough terrian and it felt like my rear shock was an iron pole below me.

So how much of a difference will gettin my rear shock setup for my weight make? And how much does that normally run?

What if I get the new elka linkage too, can I just change the springs?

I can change the springs myself correct?

if you order the linkage it will come with the new springs. they will ask your weight when you order it.
