Z400 OR 400ex are the best wheelies quads. They are both great for just about everything now that I think of it.

i have a 250x and it is very very easy to balance and ride but the little power it has isnt enuf to balance it a long time in the higher gears cus once u get going that fast in 4th or 5th and start to drop it you dont have enuf juice to bring the front back up.

My longest wheelie is on a 400ex that is stock.

Heh, he will prolly get the 400ex because you guys say it will wheelie good but when he gets it hes gunna mess it all up because he doesn't know how to wheelie on it.

Its not good to show off on anything you do, most of the time your to busy seeing what reaction your getting from the crowd instead of paying attention and thats when you crash/fall/ or get hurt.:p

If u want the best quad for wheelies, then buy a 250ex, if u think im jokin, check the records, 250ex came in first at the wheelie contest.

Any quad can wheelie, aslong as its not a gay automatic like polaris likes to make (other then a pred), but a 400ex or z400. Im guessing if your wanting to do wheelies, you prolly do trail riding too, and those quads are the trail kings.

450R.. Hands down best stock wheelie machine. Comes up in any gear (4th and 5th need a tug) and it can just ride all day long. Better than a 400ex IMO

my old honda 200sx was wicked. you could pull wheelies all day long. man I miss the thing:(

Well laugh if you must, but I used to have an old suzuki 230 quad sport (manual clutch) and it was awesome for the slow creaping wheelies. granted they werent much good for anything else because they didnt have alot of power.

A 400ex is pretty good at everything

My 300ex wheelies like a DREAM! IT is so balanced and runs so smooth with the front end strait up its excellent

If you want an atv that wheelies good then get a 300ex. I have one and they are alot better at wheelying than other quads.

I've got a 400ex and so far my longest wheelie is about 2 miles. I'd say the 400ex and z400 probably have the best balance point for wheelies.

I think the lt-z400's are one of the best wheelie machines. IMO the front end seems much lighter than a 400ex.

ive seen 400 ex's go for over a mile on a wheelie, around turns and everything but i think with the power and light weight of the 450r that there is a new champion

yfz's have the power but the front end is glued to the ground

first of all it is about 80% rider when it comes to doing wheelies. i can get on just about any sport atv and ride it for a while and be able to do long wheelies, but out of my experience the 300 wheelies better, but everyone is different when it comes to wheelies, and everyone has their opinion on which one is best.

lol, if the machine really matters that much then you must not be much of a skilled rider. 200 yards is nothing in 3rd or 4th gear. i know people that can wheelie fifties further than that. if you can't wheelie a 300, then you probably aren't even good enough to utilize half the power of a 450.

i can ride these until i run out of road, which is usually longer than 200yrds, i usually do them down the beach at pismo.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the first quad back flip done on a YFZ? Yes. So maybe it's just the rider if you thought that they didn't ride smooth enough. ;)

When he said "stunting" he was probably referring to wheelie tricks.

Very true K2Snow... but still..tricks are tricks. I still think it's the rider.

braff, i agree... but i don't see how the "smoothness" of a quad can affect aerial tricks. that's why i said he was probably referring to wheelies, because some bikes wheelie better than other as far as throttle response and balance point, which make some wheelies more smooth than others.

:D

lol

its definitely mostly rider skill, but there are definitely some quads that are better than others for doing wheelies, Example: 400ex's would wheelie better than a predator 90, lol :)
