Arm ?

I am thinking about getting some new arms for my 400. I have the 16" Elkas. Is it possible to get wider arms, but keep the Elkas this size? I was thinking about getting +1+1 or +1+2 arms. Would this work?

Yes you can. Go with +2 +0. Depending on what you ride, the hot ticket for the 400EX is +2 a-arms +4 axle and +1 swingarm.
+2 +1 a-arms with spacers on your rear axle could be an inexpensive alternative.
Either way you will need to revalve your Elka's up front to support the extra travel.
