Okay... just bought an '01 400ex and I have to do some re-jetting because of the altitude I live at. I need to pull the plug to see how it looks as I make adjustments, but I can't seem to find a socket that fits in that tight area! I have a spare plug and am pretty sure it takes a 3/4 socket... but do you need a special thin side wall on the socket in order to get it down in the hole? Did honda make a special socket just for the EX? What's the deal here? And do you guys know where I can find the size I'll need? Thanks.

-Drew

PS... don't have a honda shop in my area or I would ask them.

Just get a thin walled 17mm deep socket. That should work. Or maybe get a cheap 17 mm from somewhere and grind down the sides till it fits.

thanks guys... I did some research and did find out it's an 18mm. I did find a thin side wall socket in the chaparrel catalog that should work. Thanks for the help once again!
