hey KAZPR thank you for your point about ebay and your local shop your local shop needs all the help they can get in this suck azzz economy.. besides your local shop will support the races in your town and ebay can be a rip off...

Don't know about any problems with the 450R. My yfz has been runnin pretty flawless. Only problems I've had is I had to replace the battery fairly early, and has a bit of trouble shifting into gears sometimes, my buddy has the same trouble with his yfz, but its barely noticeable. Think the 450R might have some trouble with the back shock, might just be rumors though.

it has a little more trouble with a piped banshee but 3 of my friends just bought 04 banshees and i had no problem with my R

well i really hate when people ask this question because they usually get a bs anwser from someone who doesnt know,well it depends on how well they can ride the banshee, did they let off the gas to swith gears or not? makes a huge diff on a banshee, also how was the quad broken in? big deal on a banshee i have had several and i got a new 03 last year first time i rode it was at a race, i dogged it till it was broken it , it would smoke any stock R or YFZ and it bone stock, my friend had about 10g's in his 02 banshee carbs pipes anything but going into the motor, i had an airfilter and re jetter smoked him by over 5 quad lengths on the hwy, he sold his, but he babied it breaking it in, also depends on where u race a banshee at on the hwy and on dirt and shee cant get traction on dirt it will spin thru the first 3 gears at least, well then u got a shot, also rider ability which i mentioned earlier, i raced a guy on a banshee one day with mny stock 400ex and won why he could not ride it at all, there is a art to making a banshee do what you want and it takes a while to get comfortable with it, it s not like a 400ex where i felt comfortable the 2nd time i rode it, any ways hope this helps

i can asure you i can beat a stock banshee. where i come from i stick out like a sore thumb because im the only one without a banshee. im sure you put some one on a banshee that has rode nothing but banshees for the last 10 years and knows exactly when to shift on one and knows how to ride them and stay in the power band through all gears and yeah they might beat me in 300ft. but i can also asure you that these friends of mine i ride with are no dummies when it comes to riding. in 300ft i have them by about a bike length. with t5's or stage4's with 290 jets they have me by about a bike to a bike and a half in 300ft. put us on the rode and once i get to 5th gear they just started walking away from me. but a drag race is 300ft, any farther and i consider it a baja. i can make power pretty quick.

There is a raffle on www.trx450r.org that is haveing a raffle for the quadtech hood for like 2 dollars a ticket. i bought a few but i think the deadline is drawing near. If I win i will post some pics.
