anyone have an experience with these, I got a line on these, front and rear on ITP c-series rims for around $500 on the rim and out the door, sound like a good deal?

I've run the C-series fronts on my 88'R since they first came out with XCT tires they are +1 offset they have held up very well,And I am very hard on wheels it is extremely rough where I ride XCT's hold up 0 flats with 6-8psi. I pay about 148.00 for two polished wheels OTD.

We run the XCT's on all 3 of 300EX's and they are great! We Race GNCC and ran 1 set all last year. I have yet to have a flat and we ride alot of Woods and Rocky stuff . You DID GOOD!;)

Sounds like those wheels are expensive.

I prefer the ITP Baja rims.... They are stronger because of the rings.... I think they are the same $$ or less than the C-Series.

If you race i'd go with the xcr's. they are still 6 ply, but lower profile. they are a little faster

We have had a couple of XCR failures within one or two rides. My theory is that the width of them are narrower causing the sidwalls to be exposed to rocks and debris resulting in sidewall failure even on beadlocks with high 8psi. Is this a common problem guys? Remember XC!
