will a 42 pilot jet lean out the fuel mixture or richen it at idle to 1/4 throttle from the stock 38

the larger jets richen up the mixture. also, there is a fuel skrew on the bottom of the carb that is a fine tune adjustment for the pilot jet. turning this skrew out richens it up and turning it in leans it out.
