I don't know about that, Check out my mojaves, especially my super mojave project at http://www.picturetrail.com/mojaveaddict I never worry too much about a 400ex.

Quadrider, I make my own a arms , swing arms , stems and stuff but there are three places you can buy aftermarket a arms.
Burgards has been mentioned, High Speed Dirt has them and CWR has some really nice ones, they have no web site but the phone is 717-637-1907

where do you live man? i swear i saw that SAME EXACT quad at TNT mx park on new years day this year...same number, and everything..i talked to the owner of it, and he said he went to Clemson..just wondering if its you because you both have the same exact quad is every way, shape, and form. :eek2:

Out Sider, That was me and my son, we built the #6 for him and the super Mojave will be mine when it is finished. We live in rock hill. My son was ripping around that track at TNT wasn't he.

300rida, Those a arms are +7+2 more than stock mojave a arms but the frame has been narrowed to a single bottom rail. The width is about 49 inches with 4+1 wheels. yes, i got lots of motor work- over 40 hp in that little motor Frt shocks are standard quad rate 19" elkas but I had them custom make the rear to my specs. all the shocks now have different springs than the ones in the pics. I will post more pics later since I have some more stuff done. I just finished a custom air intake made from a 7.5 liter ford truck intake hose that curves around the shock and mounts a huge filter under the seat.

I like it when people laugh about Mojaves, I usually let them go for awhile before i bring mine out. Truth is they are really good and fun quads. Most of the time though people do not even know what it is, I get more "hey dude what is that thing" comments than anything else. They are not used to seeing a really tricked out mojave.

It want run with the new 450s but it can handle all but the very fastest 400ex.

boogiechile i am having trouble with my mojave mabe you can help. It will not start when it is cold but i can pop start it and when it starts and warms up it starts with one kick . What could this problem be and did this ever happened to you.

It may have low compression. You need to check it or have it checked. It needs to be checked cold after sitting a day and then squirt some oil in the cylinder and recheck it. If it goes up a lot with the oil it needs new rings.

Another possibility is that the choke is not working

Checked both choke and compresstion both are good

boogiechile, yeah, that thing was LOUD!!! Do you remember talking to me when we were fixing to leave, after the awards were over.. i was talking about how much bumpsteer i was getting with my wheel spacers on the front..and you said how much bump steer the mojave had w/ flipped front rims... but dude, that thing was sooooo fast!!! he was pashing z's and raptors left and right, and just left that banshee!!

boogiechile

Yea, I think I do remember you. Yea wheel spacers and offset to the outside rims cause terrible bump steer. I will never run either again.

The speed of the Mojave compared to those other quads is in the handling. It has good power for a small engine with the mods I have done but the real key is to handle well.

Have you been to tnt since then? Have they done anything to fix the condition of that lower track? It was in bad shape on News Years.

Yea Lurch has a real nice Mojave too. He is going through the whole thing now to freshen it up. We rebuilt his motor at my house a couple weeks ago. I am also building a new swing arm for him. His will be running and looking sweet when he gets it all done. I hope that we will have his and both my mojaves at Loretas this year.
