The entire 50 field heads up the hill. the 50 class has some talent. One young rider could easily compete with other riders twice his age!!

Rider 838 aboard his piped artic cat 50 was first out of the woods.

Running second on the first lap and about 10 seconds behind this polaris 50 and rider do all they can to keep 838 in sight!

The LT50 is a contender with the right rider! This rider is shown doing an excellent job getting his quad thru the course

The race to the first turn was really close. one honda 90 rode by Kyle Teter pulled the holeshot against all those other machines and wasnt even in the picture.

First thru the woods was 8 year old Kyle Teter on the honda 90 and the 11 year old on the polaris. it made for some exciting racing!

Pappy

The rest of the class was waiting for the open field and a chance to rearrange the running order:devil:

Brandon Boso (white LT80) running 3rd lap 1 is followed closely by Cody Hill (yellow eton)

Cody Hill had improved his position to 3rd on lap 2. Unfortunatley a miss reading from the scorer by cody sent him past the check point and he didnt recieve credit for the lap. he finished 7th after an incredible race that would have had him finish in the top 4.

Late in the second lap the majority of the class was still trying to get passed the #1 LT80 rider. he was slower thru the offcamber but fast everywhere else!

The riders are directed after entering the field section by a course worker as fans and family cheer them on!

Cody Hill dives to the inside to make a pass on the leader. he rode hard from start to finish and his training is showing towards the end of the races when he is just as fast or faster while others are getting tired! He could have gone home with wood today, instead he recieved a lecture from me:p

Pappy
04-17-2004, 07:57 PM
The first race of the season he wouldnt make hardly a pass. After some practice he is now passing clean and often!

I love watching the little ones do battle. This coverage is great, i wish we had more little one racing out here in Illinois.

Great job pappy, and congrats to cody.
