400ex pop starting

hey guyz, my starter solenoid went on my 02 400ex ---- does any one know where i can get one? and does any one know if it's ok to 'pop start' my 400 each time? if it's not ok why is it bad, and what does it do?

you can get the solenoid at your dealer and as far as pop starting it should be fine

Yeah it won't hurt anything. And easier way is to just touch the two bolts on the sylinoid with a screw diver. It will save you some pushing.

what i did once was just wire a switch to by pass the cylinoid deal, flip the switch it cranks off it stops:macho just get good wires tiny ones will melt lol
