Well I'm about to start my FMX ramp. Have all the metal and footings welded on them. The dimensions will be 7'x5'6'x6'' Let me know how you think this will hold.

Also, instead of welding the frame, could I bolt everything togerther and air-wrench them down? And possibly red locktite them?

Here's the lot it's going in...(disregard the boat and dirtpile, they will be moved). The picture also makes it seem very small.

Yep it is shelving from my dad's warehouse with a few extra welds on them. Can't beat the price, free.

uh yeah its not gonna hold together near as good as if u welded it just have the ramp in two parts if ur worried about moving it

plans sound good just dont bolt it, it will most likely come loose and or snap a bolt, it would also take so much longer than welding it.

i've seen a few ramps that are bolted together for like shows and events that you dont have much time to setup for. they work just as good as any other ramp but they are replaced each season. the bolts round the holes their in so eventually they wear out and the ramp itself gets wobbly. i'd say weld it up tight but bolting will work but wont be as durable and you risk the thing colapsing on ya if you dont keep a close watch.
