Well, the stock slip-on just got messed up. What's the best slip-on while maintaining near-stock sound. I ride around my house a lot, and I'd like to keep doing so, what would you guys reccomend I go with?

Also- I'm on a 400EX with a stock motor.

hmf has a quiet core they claim keeps 95% of the power gains is 91 decibals loud. I think fmf has a very quiet muffler but its very long.

the quietest pipes i had was a LRD. it was a very mellow pipe but gave great gains. it has a turn down an i suspect thats what makes it seem a bit less loud.

White B E-series! Install it as it comes without adding the extra baffles. It may be a little louder but well within range. IF you ride somewhere that a little more dba's are acceptable throw the extra baffles on and a different jet and you have a whole new machine.

if you order the quiet-cored DMC dual it shuts up like a red headed stepchild.

keep the replies coming! So far, I'm guessing LRD or HMF are my top choice, and yes FMF offers the Q and the megamax, but FMF sucks at 4 stroke.
thanks

I didnt know LRD made a slip-on pipe. why dont you wait until you get the funds,if you can wait, and buy a complete system.
that would be better in the long run, especially the more engine mods you do.

I think on this site HMF = overrated

they are pretty good but the only reason they get so much props around here is because they are site sponsors.

don't let that cloud your judgement.
