i hate internet

ok i go on websites and stuff and the next thing i know my computers froze, theres 100 pop ups in my face that i dont know anything about. so i finally get all that crap exited out of, then i go to my desktop and theres a bunch of junk DOWNLOADED to my computer that i dont even know about! that is not right! i am so ticked off. i delete it but it gets back on some how! then i go on internet explorer and where i type my website URL and all that stuff, theres 2 different search button things that i dont want up there and i did no download them! so i try to take them off, and i usally can by right clicking and un choosing them from the list, but i go to UN choose them and the buttons wont let me choose anything!!! BULL CRAP! im so mad! i have pop up eliminator but obviously it is junk
anyone have this problem?
i think it should be against the law to have crap download onto your hard drive without anyone knowing about it! MANNNNNNNNN

Blysster, thanks i downloaded that and did the scan on my computer. i had 619 unidentified items on my computer! the program quarintined them and so far the pop ups arent coming back! thanks

I used to get a million pop ups all the time it was evil, then after a while my comp blew up and i wasnt on for like 7 months

When you open up adaware, there is a update button on the main page. Make sure you do it to load in the latest spyware definitions.

step 3. download install and run this spybot scanner (http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10194058.html?tag=lst-0-2)

step 4. go to www.google.com and install their toolbar/pop up blocker.
