What does this exactly do?
What kind of riding does it benefit?

it is good for basically any kind of riding. It kind of acts as a shocks for the steering stem, it will also reduce arm pump and vibration in the bars...

it's like a shock absorber for your handlebars.
it benefits all types of riding. even TT and short track :D

glad to see you guys having fun ... lol
is it still benefital over anti vibe clamps and stuff? ... like the anti-vibe and stearing stab.
how hard are they to install?
singel? ... or duel? ...
how much do they cost ... ballpark

the cost around $120..and it is much better than an antivibe clamp...
easy to install and a single will be fine

~$120 for a sealed unit
~$160 for a re-buildable
~$370 for them neat WER or GPR type
a dampner combined with an anti-vibe stem is beautiful thing.
if ya got the cash, them FASST bars are pretty nice too.
