Ok i was tightening my chain today and while tightening the 4 bolts on the swing arm i snapped one of them. I should be able to un screw it from the bottom with pliers because there is about 1/4 of of thread sticking out. My question is should i replace that one bolt with the original or is it ok to replace all four with stronger socket head type bolts from the hardware store ?

ok...take one of the bolts off that are in good shape...go to home depot or Loews or some hardware store & get some new bolts of higher quality for cheaper...thats what i did with my rear brake master cylinder bolts that hold it onto the frame & the bolts have a black fiish & our of excellent quality over stock & had a awesome price compared to the wait at the dealership plus their ripoff price :macho

Another question. Do you guys touque the bolts down at 15lbs. like the manual says or just tighten them until it feels snug ? Because what i thought was snug was a little too much.

ok well lets put it this way. I was looking for a new rear rotor and my dealer said 180$ for stock and 130$ for an after market. So i would say they are a rip off. That also wanted 40$ for a block off plate. What a joke.
