spark plug color

i runnig a hmf slipon, K&n filter with precharger and the dynojet jets. about 3 turns out on mixture screw, 165 main jet 4 postion on needle, elevation 500 feet above sea level, temperatur 40 to 60 maybe hit 70 this weekend

right know from a little less then half to full throttle the spark plug has a medium tan, grey color to it. From a little bit above 1/4 to idle the plug is black

so should i get a couple of pilot jets maybe a 40 or 42 to fix that rich condition, change the needle to the 3rd position

also can i ride it the way it is right know being rich on the bottom end with out doing any damage to the motor

i would try to move the clip on the needle to the 3rd position. i doubt your really rich on the pilot jet if your still using the stock one.
