I just put the 13 t front sprocket on R. How is it keeping the front end down with the 13 t i have tested it yet. I might be going to sand lake this saturday to test it out. But i wanted to know how it was keeping the front end down with it!

Depends on terrain / traction / rider weight and positioning...

In high traction (loam or pavement) it wants to come up bad, and you need to clutch it off the line and sit way forward.

Obviously in low traction, it spins like mad off the line.

Be forewarned though, shifts/rev limiter come a lot quicker with the 13T in 2nd and 3rd!

It won't keep your front end down, just the opposite.

i have a 13t front , and a +1.25 swingarm and it's hard for me to get the front end off the ground. the swingarm really does the trick!

in typical riding i noticed the front end didnt rise as much with the 13 tooth.

What about backing off the preload?

With HRC now installed, I went back to 14T (stock gearing) to test. I actually wheelie more now, and the pull is SIGNIFICANTLY stronger with the HRC & stock gearing. Also, you can hold that hard accel much longer, as the gearing is longer than the 13T. (no sheite)

I will keep the 13T on hand, but I seriously doubt I will ever be using it. I hate how quickly you go thru 1st, 2nd and 3rd...always hit the rev limiter.

13T and stock 450R works well, but 14T on an HRC 450R is the bawls. I am still considering trying either a 40T rear, or a 39T rear, based on KGB and Lukesters recomendations...
