elka w/o rezzies or works stadium?

right now i am mainly interetsed in shocks just for MX. i want to spend around $500. which is a better shock for racing... Works Stadium Series or Elka triple rates WITHOUT rezzies? and just out of curiosity how much lower is the ride height on both? how will they do on trails? thanks

stadium series cost more than $500 don't they. heck just the at steelers are $520 or so..

Just a thought, my sponsor is selling a set of Works tripple rates w/cans set up for 180lb. rider. They are set for +2 arms, but I was gonna run them on my stockers. They are a little more than a year old and have been recently serviced and valved. They are in very good condition.

The price is $400 + shipping. If I had the money I would be all over these babies.:o

If you want to spend a bit more money get some Elka's w rezzies. Actually I have a brand new set of elka's w piggy backs that are set up for long travel. That would get you set up right! The first time. I always say go all out if you want to win! anyway that is that, I ran them @ Ga when I was waiting for Wayne to get me my Pep's

I'd go with the Elka's. You can always add rezzies later.

Go with Elka. You'll be happy. I have econos on the front of my 400ex. They work awesome. I never found myself really wanting rezzies. I raced the Southwick National last September and talk about a rough track. I didnt happen notice the shocks fading from not having rezzies. I was trying hard and going pretty good. 5th place overall out of 36 people. (4th first moto and 5th the second moto) just to let you know I wasnt farting around in last place and I was actually trying and putting a beating on my machine.

I would go with the elka's, I love mine. And I think works stadium series are a lot higher than 520.

I have the works front shocks with rezzies, and they made a HUGE improvement over stock. I'd say get the Works shocks, you can pretty much sell them for as much as u bought them for.

id buy the works with rezzies cause the elka's without dont last too long,,, also,,since the works shocks will be lasting a while save up and then send em to derisi for a milenium package and thel be sick:cool:
