300ex with 400 shocks?

Alright guys i was thinking. My 400ex conversion front end on my 300ex is just getting crappy. I was thinking +3 300ex burguard a-arms with 400ex Works w/ cans. Would this still put stress on my ball joints or still blow off my geometry? Let me know what ya think I race MX. Thanks guys!

It will work fine with a shockmount bracket. This setup changes the angle of the shock which will mean you will have to revalve/respring the shock to work properly. I have +2+1 Burgards with the shockmount and Elka's and it works great. Good luck.

As long as you use arms that are designed for the 300ex then your geometry will be great. If your gonna use 400ex shocks then you will need the bracket like 300exOH
