405 TC RACING KIT for 300ex

Hey guys i was wondering... This guy is going to give em a tc racing crank, jug, head, cam, and all the other stuff... All i need is a sleeve. He said he will sell it to me for cheap + give him my stock stuff. He said he had it in his until he cracked his sleeve....


What i was wondering was is this a good deal? Is this reliable? I mean every guy i talked to said no, the engine will gernade.. I want some kind of reliable power increase for my 300ex let me know guys..... Thanks

I have the Pro Fab 350 kit in my 250X. Thats probly what ur getting except it will have a stroker crank to take it up to a 405.I have no complaints so far with the motor work. It has one season on it so far and I hope to get at least one more before a rebuild.Its a lot better than stock so any improvments is better than none.

Im running a 406 stroker kit in my 300ex. No problems yet, but its only been a couple days.
