I am looking into getting some new front and rear tires for the ol 400 and i am torn between staying with the holeshots that i have now or going down a different road. I've been doing a lot of trail riding with a fair ammount of time spent in sand pits and clay pits, and i dont race too often. I have been eyeing the mud sharks for their aggressive tread which would be nice in trails. i havent really been able to find a suitable front tire. (they all look the same to me) Anyone had the muid sharks before?? feedback?? and what would be a nice front and rear tire setup for trail use as well as hooking up in sand and clay?? Feedback is great! yay

Klaw XCF's up front and Knarlys. In the rear. Or if you are looking for tha mud type tire get a 20 x 12 x 9 blackwater. I had them on the back they are great tires and they last forever. Not to mention they throw a serious roost

I ran Holeshot XC's all the time for years...............made the switch and got 4 Razr 2's, and they are hands down the best tires I ever used! They are great everywhere including mud!

Try them, you will love them!:D

for what you described as what you ride regularly, i would have to recommend the Razr2's front and rear.

though a Razr2 front and Klaw rear would work pretty well for you also.

The mudsharks are basically alot for mud and snow, they do work in trails since they have way to much tread..i had spider tracs before and they were awesome but not for hardpack dirt they went to fast..i went out and bout a new set of razrs and im happy as can be...but yet ive had em before and they rule

nice thing about the klaw is that you can flip 'em around to change the pattern for soft or hard conditions. i ride them the hard direction most of the time, but when i go to where there's a lot of sand but not enough for paddles i flip em around... they do pretty good! they load up in the mud but clear out pretty quick if you keep 'em spinnin.
