My first GNCC race is coming up. Just wondering if I will need to plan to pit for fuel during the race or if my 300EX will make the entire race on one tank full. Aside from an exhaust pipe, the engine is stock.

I plan to test it out riding for 2 hours, but just wondering what others have experienced?

Thanks!!

you will do fine if you only do 3 laps, if you are going to do 4, i would pit once you start your 4th lap/

what class will you be racing? i will be in the soprt class in the afternoon. come say high, were the last row in the race, i'll be on a black 300ex w/ yellow number plates, #812

Yeah, I'll be in the Sport Class. Racing at Rausch Creek. If all goes well, I hope to race a few more this year.

Any other advise for setting up a 300EX?

Thanks!

depends on what kind of money you have, if you dont have a set of 20inch tires, they work way better than the stock size. i run about 5 psi in all the tires, ride your quad around a bit and make sure youve got the preload setings right, makes sure every nut and bolt is tight. get any bearings replaced that need it, make sure your chain and sprockets are in good shape. just small stuff like that.

No, you won't need to fuel
