View Full Version : remove fenders and ride to see if i shoud cut mine?

I was so bored in schoolo today and got to thinkng about cuttin my fenders. What do yall think about just removing the front fenders and going for a ride to see how it would be?? I muight try this tommorow once it dires up a little bit..w what do yall tink?

If you have never ridden a quad with shaved fenders then go for it. It would suck pretty bad to cut your fenders then not be satisfied with them. I decided I liked no fenders better when I rode my old quad without its front fenders on. At least if you try it and dont like it you can put the fenders back on and leave it at that...

I finished tuning my carb to the slip-on I put on and was thinking about cutting the fenders too (got bored because there was nothing left to do!). I even have them marked just need to cut them. Maybe I'll take my brother's lt250 for a spin. He has shaved fenders.

if your a beginner then leave them on.... if your fast and either race or trail ride aggresively then cut them off. the looks of it shouldn't be a factor when it comes to purpose but its always a plus if you like it. your gonna end up cutting them off sooner or later anyways.

i been wantin to cut my fender really bad latly but i didn't know if i would like it... today i went riding with a guy that has them cut on his 400ex and i rode it and man do i i like it alot... i will def be cuttin mine soon as it drys up... he also had a wb pipe and twist on and i like the pipe so mayb someday here i will order one...

ridin with cut fendersw is like ridin a whole new bike. The difference for me was night and day, don't regret it one bit...

i hate riding quads with fenders now after I cut mine. no regrets.

I have the same problem. My ex is brand spankin new. You know with nice shiny plastics. My problem is I like the shaved fenders, but I can't bring myself to cut them. It would look so trick with shiney plastics and shaved fenders. What do yall think?
