i dont think you will get 5500 for it...even if it is original like that...but nice quad by the way...the most i would pay is like 4 grand tops

that is a stock r guys pro link rear suspension from the factory and the 89 r's had the same wheels and tires as the 400

free bump

That is correct, only 86-87 had gold rims. That is about as stock as you will ever find, nice R good luck selling!

Iam glad to see that there still are a few people out there that remember the mighty 250R in stock trim.

i remember them!!! that is a fine specimen! unless you find one in a crate boys, this is as stock and as good of shape as you will find, at least as far as i can tell by the pics!:eek2:

Thanks for the compliment sir, I have other pics,its as good as it looks. I hate to sell it but I dont ride it and it cant be replaced if I did happen to wreck it. Ibought a new 450R so I could do some riding but I am not at all impressed, I should sell the 450R and just ride the real R.

Very nice looking indead, haven't seen one still completely stock and looking this good for quite some time. Thats right, the 86 and 87 had gold wheels, and the 88 and 89 had the polished wheels. And that is the stock swing-arm and decals that came on them in 89 from the factory. Good luck with selling a great looking 250R.

nice, very nice, i think youll at least get 5,000 for it if the right person comes along and knows what theyre buying
