I just finished putting on my new JD +2+1 arms on the 250 and it took a litle bit of muscle to get them in place then they would stay where ever you moved them on their own.. after that i put on the new Elkas and layed it on the ground. and gave it the bounce test and it is really stiff compared to the back..

new stuff needs to break in or is this a problem?

With the bushings in aftermarket a-arms I ound that if you torque the a-arm bolts too much it also make the a-arms hard to move.

Sounds like it just needs a little ride time on it to brake it in..

Just to note, if you call JD Performance, they will tell you that the bushings are self-lubricating and only require some WD-40 and no grease. I wonder why this is-I always have just followed what they told me to do. And yes if you torque the arms too much they will be too stiff at first with the shocks mounted. If you cant loosen them a little bit so they work smoother, prob just needs breaking in like previously said.
