400ex carb on a 250x

can u put a 400ex carb on a 250x? I know its possible on a 300ex. also is a 41 fcr good for my 400ex? (check signature) or would a 39 work better? thanks.

yes a 400Ex Carb will fit on a 250X and a 39 would probally work better with the mods you have.

yep its possible, i just bought one off of ebay, for my 250x. u just need a 350x air boot to top it off.

I want to do the same thing to my 250x, but is the jetting okay, or do you have to mess with that a little.

You will have to rejet it, just as you would with any other decent mod.

YEP I just put one on mine................haven't got to try it yet cuz my head is in getting some work :devil: I didn't buy a 350x air boot, I boiled my stocker then stuck it on there to dry now I just need a new clamp though!! Thanks for the idea ghak ;) I think it's gonna work!!!

No problem, Let me know what jetting and needle adjustment you go with once you get it all together a tuned in. I feel my carb was still a little off when I took it apart.
