Aftermarket Steering Stems are not Cheaper than Stock, but they are well worth the Money. Go ahead and get a Laeger, Houser, Roll Design, Etc. Stem. You shouldn`t Bend those.

I want a anti-vibe steering stem too, I think it would help my bike handle better but my problem is this. I already have Pro Taper bars and for me to get a anti-vibe stem there like $250 and if I bend my stock one I could buy a new one for $50 bucks thats 5 for the price of one. Besides how much difference can they make?

Get houser. I just order a chrome +1 houser stem and clamp. Houser does not make a +2 just +1 and they are anti- vibe. Check it out a www.houser-racing.com

is there a purpose for an extended stem if you dont run a bigger tank?

you can run tag or pro taper bars,,the low bend kind and you don't need the attachment for your stock stem to raise the bars up to normal hieght..

I would go with Houser. You could get a Good Deal on a Houser Stem from Marcum`s.
