I am considering purchasing a set of chrome Lonestar +2 A-Arms for my 400EX. Has anybody had any problems with them? Does anybody recommend another type over lonestar? Are they constructed well?

Back when I had my EX, I bought a set of +2 arms and loved them. Very well constructed and didnt have a problem at all.

Im sure everyone has they're preference on a arms and stuff like that. Just pick a good quality product you like.

I do not have any Lonestart products, but I have heard nothing but good reviews. I am sure you would be happy with the a-arms.

nothing wrong with chrome, but i wouldnt have the lowers done. they take quite a beating and that finish will not last long. i got my uppers chromed and lowers pc'ed black.

Nickle works well. It is the stuff that makes the chrom shine but it does not flake like chrome. Nickle is what my arms are coming with.

If you want, a friend of mine is selling a set of used standard Lonestar +2's right now. They just need a fresh coat of pc and they will be good to go.

Shoot me a pm if you are interested...the price is very reasonable.:)
