anybody else have k&n problems

ive been using a K&N filter since i started racing and have always cleaned and oiled it but it seems like all of their filter let dust particles by. i was a die hard K&N fan but i made the switch to foam. i urge everyone ho runs one to rub the inside of their intake boot with there finger, lately i have had problems with grime residing in there after riding, i dont know if it is a glich in the gauze or what but my 2 newer ones do the same thing, so i think it is just the filter in general. lemme know thanks

you have to keep them well oiled, like every ride or two if it's real dusty.
the oil is what does most of the filtering, if it's dusty the oil gets dryed up, so to say.

that's one of things outterwares are supposed to do, keep most of the courser dust off the filter.
