Truck 4X4 ??

I am kinda new to 4 wheel drive with an truck.My qustion is I have an 1988 ford bronco full size with push button 4 wheel drive. Is there a limit on how many miles you can drive it in 4 wheel drive,before something starts burning up or whatever else could happen. Thanks:devil:

a few guys around here have taken 4x4 trucks and cut everything off right behind the cab. they then take a 16' tadem axle trailer, cut the toung off and weld it back up to the truck where the bed should go. then take the driveshaft out, put it in 4x4 and you have a front wheel drive utility truck... they have held up so far being ran in 4x4 all the time
