In A Dilemma ... Please Help

Well ... most of you know that I have decided on white fullbores for my 400ex ... I also have made up my mind that its gonna have a carbon fiber hood ... and I *WANTED* black backround k&k flame graphics ..

Well now im screwed and confused ... lol

K&K mades those graphics for the STOCK ex plastics with the dimples on the sidepanels & they totally skip that part of the quad

Well since fullbores are all smooth and flush ... this wouldn't look good at all ... the only thing that k&k said I could do is buy 250r graphics and cut them to find the 400ex plastics ... but they said it is a big difference between the two ...

WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!! :confused:

I have Nac's graphics on my fullbores. All you have to do is cut the graphics around where the two air vent things are.

the thing is I havn't found a graphics kit that I like as much as the k&k flames ...

so any helpful info on that?!

why are you getting fullbore if you just going to put a hood on it? It will just cover up the best part of the fullbore plastic

Well cory ... you may think the best thing about fullbore is thier "scoops" ... to me ... its thier quailty ... thier cut (i like way more than maier) and the two little like vent things on the inside of the front fenders ... fullbores and a quad tech hood look sick IMO

I am just gonna do the same thing ur doing ... I guess the r plastics is kinda difficult .. so Im just gonna go with the 400ex fullbore with the quad tech hood ...

I just got off the phone with k&k and the guy said that the r graphics and ex seat cover will match up ... he said u just have to trim the graphics a little ... but its not that bad ...

So I guess we'll see how it goes ..

you first...lol. be sure to add pics to this thread! Looks to me that there will be lots of excess vinyl along the motor area to trim off. I got your back...hehe

it shouldn't be that bad to trim tho dude ...

like If i put them on while the plastics are off the bike ... then trim what I dont need ... (like what is hanging over) ... then it should be all good ....

lol ... hell I dunno ... I guess ill just wing it one day
