I have 2 set of rear rims and tires for my 400ex. One set hasn't been used in over a year, so its time to sell them. The question is which should I sell, the stock 400ex wheels or the Douglas red lables. They are both in about the same condition. The only advantage I see is that the better tires are on the douglas wheels, so I would want to switch them if i keep the stock. Do you think one would get more on ebay than the other?

Thanks,
Scott

either way I would run the stock rims. I run mx and use a set of stockers with MXR's on them and they are holding up very well. I also run ITP .190's too...not too much of a Douglas fan.:o

The stock wheels are a lot stronger IMO, so I'd keep them and get rid of the Douglas.

The douglas rims would probably bring more in on ebay. i personally like the looks of the stock rims over the douglas. the stockers show the red hubs and the douglases have just a circle hole. id just go buy a set of itp t-9 pro series rims and be done with it.

stay with the stocks man. i bought .190s thinking they would be better than the stock and they are weaker. the stock rolled edge helps out majorly because when a stock rim gets a ding the .190s are pretty smashed up. im keeping my stock fronts and getting tires on them instead of getting the .190s.

I have red labels and they suck. I wish I never got rid of my stock ones. the douglas wheels do not hold up and can't take a side hit. seem like they would be good for sand only.
