question about cutting an alba pipe??

i have an alba pipe on my z400 and the end cap is like permantley on ther and it runs like crap with it on..will it be ok if i cut like 2 inch of the pipe or i will have to do more things...to cut it..thanks

if your bike runs like crap with the endcap on then either A.) you ride like crap or B.) your tuned your bike like crap :o

i dunt feel like tuning it...i like it loud....so what would be the best way to cut it witht end cap stuck on ther..
