250R-400EX axles.. interchangeable?

I'M ADDING A LONESTAR +1 SWINGARM TO MY 400EX. MOST AFTERMARKET SWINGARMS ARE SET UP TO ACCEPT THE HONDA CARRIER, BUT, I'VE NOTICED THAT THE "NUB" STICKING OUT OF THE SIDE OF THE SWINGARM (THAT KEEPS THE REAR CALIPER MOUNT FROM SPINNING WITH THE DISC) LOOKS TOO SMALL FOR MY EX BRAKE MOUNT. WITH THE SWINGARM WILL I JUST HAVE TO ADD A 250R BRAKE MOUNT TO MY EXISTING EX CARRIER AND AXLE?
DON'T WORRY I'LL USE THE CHANCE TO REPLACE BEARINGS AND SEALS WHILE I'M IN THERE.

I believe the axles are different. The hub splines are different.

they are interchangeable, only the hubs are different(splines) so if you use a R axle you will need R hubs. other then that everything else can be swapped
