Does anyone know if 400 EX A-arms & a 400 EX axle would fit my 300 EX? Also do u know how much longer the a-arms are & how much wider the axle is for the 400 than the 300?

if you put them on the front it makes the 300ex handle very bad with very bad bumpsteer...in other words dont do it...do a search on it

The a arms and shocks will fit but in order to keep the bump steer to a minimum, you will need to relocate the upper shock mounting points....I do beleive The QuadShop sells the kits.

the a-arms would make the quad about a inch and a half wider on each side...but the axle won't fit it is to big i think(im not sure on this though)

i put 400ex a-arms and shocks on my 96 300ex and it made a bid diffrents. they messured almost +2. i never noteced any bump steer. the only way to get a 400ex axle to work is to put the hole swingarm, shock, axle carrier...i know the 250r rear end lines up but im not shure if the 400ex is the same:cool:

how will the 250R swingarm line up when you have to connect it to the motor, and on the 300ex you don't???

I'll probably just buy the Armadillo A-arms from Rocky mountain atv when i get the money. Does anyone have these on their quad?

I tell you I have been on here a short time and followed everyone's advice, bottom line do it right. Save up the cash, by Burgards from our site sponsers, get the shock relocator and new aftermarket shocks for the application. You will be very happy, read throught the threads in the search section. ;)

I plan on quite a few more mods, really just started with the basics and that was suspension. Told the wife to too bad get use to it. I plan on giving to my son, then upgrading (450R):D Until that time it is strictly a trail machine.
