I have Elka triple rates up front and need a rear rebuild ! I want the biggest best rebuild there is ! I emailed elka and they said that you can not put a remote rezzy on a stock shock?? Is this true or is Elka just not know how to do that ?? Any one know a cheap place to get a rebuild a complete rebuild from elka is $375.00 thats with a zero preload shock new main shock new seal head new valving and new oil!! Any info will help

$295 from www.quadshopatv.com They'll convert it to SSD and revalve it. They can't convert to remote because the stock shock has a piggyback rezzy to begin with.

I sent my rear shock into Race Tech and they did a standard rebuild for around $100. It works as good as new now. Not the biggest baddest rebuild, but I was happy with the results for the price.

I would go with the Elka Rear Conversion. Quadshop and C&D Racing sell the Conversion for Cheap. I don`t think any Company makes a Remote Rezzy for the Stock 400EX Rear Shock. That would be Cool if somebody did.
