My friend, he says that I shouldn't get a 400 because its got a clutch and I have never rode a quad with a clutch before. He says the 400 isn't a good beginner's quad at all. In my opinion, I just think he is jealous that I am going to get a 400ex and he is going to get a Blaster.
He wants me to get Mojave or a 250EX. No Driveshafts! Chains all the way.:p

Clutches are not that hard to ride and I think your friend is jealous too.

the difference between a Mojave and a 400EX is the difference between a chevy s-10 and a dodge SRT-10.
go for it I say! btw I'm sellin' an 03' EX. ;)

My daughter is your age, and she went from a 250EX to a Warrior. It took her about 15-20 minutes to be good enough to turn her loose on her own at the dunes. Nothin' to it, it just takes a little practice! Now, go spank that Blaster!

Clutches are so easy to figure out . Its like ridding a bike for the first time , you'll smack ur nutz on the tank when you stall it the first few times , then you get the hang of it . ;)

you will have no problem learning i learned how to clutch when i was 6 on a Suzuki 80
Toke me about 10 minutes to get used to it. The first day you get the quad, have someone stop by and explain to you how it goes.

have you ever ridden before??? cause id feel bad telling you to get a 400ex after you killed yourself. ya im sure you can handle a clutch, but contrary to popular belief (dirtwheels) a 400ex is not a slow pile of crap. maybe you should start out on a 300ex, get the hang of riding, and then move up.
