head and piston

I was wondering what the price of a new 450R head would be i was riding this week end and some stuf worked it's way into the motor and ruined the head :mad: i saw somebody post on here and say they worked at a honda dealership I wanted to know a price so they don't screw me over and since the piston is also ruined i was wondering if the CRF piston would fit and the price of it or JE piston if that won't work i would love any info you guys could please give me

GUY400 had a thread on here a while back and in that thread I think they said the price for a complete head was like 231 dollars through service honda. Check with C+D racing on this site about the JE pistons those guys are on the ball and will be able to tell you if there available or not yet. The crf piston won't work so don't even waste your time.
