what does grooving them do? howdoes grooving them help give more traction?

i believe how it works is that it opens the tread and the tread can clean itself better which allows for more traction but dont hold me to it

It wokred out very well for the Predator,it tends to have too much wheelspin so the added traction was a big help,Im going to try this on my Tamers as well:)

the tire quadjunkies posted is a good pattern but i believe the main reason for grooving turftamers is to have your own pattern, most patterns should all work somewhat the same
