Does anyone have one of these and are you happy with it?

K&N claims that some atv's gain 7 hp but that is unreal. it seems to mee you would be better off takink your airbax lid off in that case, unless you were worried about dust and water, etc.

That thing is pretty damn pricey:eek2:. You can get 6 1" round plugs you can put in your airbox that will increase airflow for around $5. You can put as many plugs you want to in the box to acheive the desired air flow. IMO this would be A LOT cheaper.

Did you notice a power increase when you intalled the outerwears cover? was the increase worth the money and trouble of installment? how much was it?did it increase the noise?

I am not speaking for dude, but adding the airbox cover should not increase the noise very much if at all. It does increase power: more air=more power (if setup correctly). You will need to rejet after adding a mod if this flavor.

good luck

for money you can cut out a braket yourself and only spend like 15 for the cover.. or like me i just bought a cover for them and cut a whole in my airbox for like 45

they gave me the outerwears, and the metal and all the rivets to install it, all i had to do was cut a whole in the top of my airbox, it was extremely easy, and i def noticed a power difference.. there was a slight diff tone in the sound, but not a whole lot

def have to rejet it

james

go for it.. its worth it
