I asked my parents if i chould get into raceing and she said if its something i really wanna do its fine but ill have to get a job at my dads work and a job around the house and then we will go from there...and my dad said go for the raptor660 which is like 6199 so im just gonna put the extra 300 in and buy the honda 450r n im soo happy! sorry bout the post...im sure some of you are like WHO CARES lol but im happy! :D

Congrats dude. What kind of racing are you getting into? MX, harescrambles? Either way, wise choice on the 450R (IMO).

But no need to throw in extra money. Drive over to Pro Cycle in Columbia. You can get a 450R for $5999.

Theres some really nice RACE READY 400ex's out there for half price of the new honda.
Remember your gonna have to spend $500 min to get the new quad ready to race competitively . Nerfs, tires, teather switch, etc.

I would look around for a Race Ready 400ex like SGA mentioned. You could find a really good deal on one, check out e-bay. Good luck with the race season:D
