hey guys i need to replace my leftside case on my 300ex before 2 weeks 4 my big race and will i have to take apart the hole engine and bearings and everything or do they all come w/the new case?..also will it be to hard 4 me to do by myself or should i go ahead and send it to the mechanic and spend a bunch of money i dont have?..thanx ben

It all depends on your skill level. If your good with a wrench and have a common knoweledge of motors, go for it. As for the bearings and seals, depends on where you ordered the case from.

before you split it lay it on its right side and carefully lift off the side you want to replace and all the tranny parts should stay put, thats what we did to my brothers old 300

the case will probably be bare,and if you can work on a cars manual tranny yeah you could probably do it if not its a little tricky!
