How do you remove 300ex engine out of the frame:mad:

just wrestle with it, ive done it twice, there really isnt much of an easy way i can think of. if you get the motor out of the rear mounts, the easiest way is to take the bottomend out first, thru the left side (if your sitting on it)

ahh man it a pain in the butt,i just got my nice freshly powdercoated frame and the first thing i did was put my engine back in...man what a pain in the ***...like bradly said,just wrestle with it,.and tape some towel or something to the main parts of the frame so you don't scratch it or dent it up if you jsut had it powdercoated....what i did was i got it all unbolted then liften the engine up a lil bit so i can get it on a angle to get it out....just remember patience is the key part here....it will pay off trust me

taking it out was easy...its a major pain in the *** to put it back in

lol, i had the exact opposite, my motor was a pain to get out, and ion 10 minutes, me and jeff@quadshop had TWO 300ex motors back in there frames. it does help a little bit if you dont have the swingarm on, and if all else fails, take off the valve cover for a little more clearance

lmao...mine came out in a snap! It took me about 45 min. to get that sucker back in there..

mine took so long because i was being very very carefull not to mess up my PC..lol

did get some scratches though...oh well
