could you put an XR600 motor in a 400EX chassis? would it fit and run ok? if so I would like to do that to my ex

yes you can, their are some guys that ran one in the baja 1000 this year. its in one of the dirt wheels mags, make it a 650 motor

what would I have to to? would I have to get new engine mounts? do they sell conversions or somthing?

You would need mounts, frame gusset, etc. Would be a cool conversion though.
