i know exactly how you feel man...i have an 82 ke100, broken for 6+ months, just because i need spokes, clutch lever, clutch and front brake cables, shocks are broke, paid 1000 for it, put 2000 into it, has a wiseco piston, answer bars, its a peice of crap, i rode it with a warped wheel over to my friends house last night cuz hes got a better shop, gonna order some parts, fix it, but i took it out into the field cuz its far to walk, to mould this huge mound of dirt into a jump (took pics :D xr50tim had a digi cam will have up sometime) jumping an xr80 and xr100 pretty high, well anyways, my ke100 wouldnt start. it keeps flooding. even after i try everything (bbq lighter in top end; burns up gas) i take out the plug and its still got oil on it  POS.

Im buying a honda. honda for life. today the xr80 and xr100 took some hard landings, everything, nothing wrong with them. but, i think ill get a CR125, add some engine stuff.

check out this sweet deal i just saw in the paper >>> 99 RM125 - new bearings, seals, clutch, tires, sunstar sprockets, pro tech suspention, bills pipe, uni filter, boyesen reeds, renthal bars, never raced, never wrecked, $3200, canadian. too bad i dont have that kind of money.

you wanna hear something cool for honda, my boss bought an 85 honda xr200 today for 500 dollars in great shape but, it hasnt been started in over 10 years, I took apart the carbs and cleaned them, put new gas in it and is started up on the 3rd kick. Runs great.

Thats nothing. Last year I found a 1975 honda tl250 trials bike "4 stroke if wondering" in one of our barns that my fauther "failed to mention he had". It had set since 83 or 84 he "couldn't remember". I cleaned out the main jet and it runs perfect, and never smokes. This bike has been stroked and has a larger bore in it and will flat run for its age. Out of the 5 people who have rode it over the last year, only one has managed to not get dumped on their back! The off idle torque is flat scary.

Well generally when large amounts of people own a certain type of bike it means one thing, its good. Everyone owns a 400ex because they are great reliable quads and with a bit of money can be made just as good as the "updated bikes" .

I just wish I could say the same thing about predators.

my 300ex is the most cold blooded basterd i've ever seen..but its called a choke, and not touching the gas.. its amazing how easy things start when you do this..

during the winter when it was like 9 degrees out, my 400 started up within a second of the starter being pushed, no choke but I blipped the gas 3 times first.
