Just on the trails here in breck. co kentucky. My bike is nice for a little 250 i got a white bros e series on it w/ k& n intake and dg front and grab bar bumpers. just need some new back tires and ill prolly get me some nerf bars. With that white bros and intake i can really beat some 300ex's around here!!!

same as stock. maybe an inch or two shorter if your not worried about loosing top speed if you want more accel.

The stock tire is a 22x10x9, so that means it's 22" tall, 10" wide, and fits a 9" wheel.

The wheel is a 9" diameter and that's the one thing you absolutely have to pay attention to. You can choose height based on what you want, and the width doesn't make much practical difference since almost all rear tires are going to be between 10" and 12" wide.

A shorter tire such as a 20x11x9 will give you more acceleration but you'll lose some top speed and ground clearance, and since dropping the rear of the quad changes the weight bias, it may also want to push the front-end worse in corners.

If you want to keep the accelleration, top speed, and handling the way it is stock, go with 22x11x9 rears.

As for brands, personally I'd go with either Holeshots or Razrs.

from riding trails in ct. for years ican tell you that size is a nessesity. stick with 22in tall rears for ground clearence!!!!! the new tires may be a litle hevier and have more grip wich will make your ride feel under powered. so try a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket to make up the dif. you will be shifting a litle more but the snapy feeling and added botm end will feel great for the trail. :D have a blast!!!!

Stay away from nerfs unless the 300 has reverse... can't remember..... you might want to consider a "trailbreaker" style they are more directional.... .. also if you go to the beach (sand) you can switch them from one side to the other and you will have a decent sand tire with out having to have a second set....
