Should I get a new piston?

Well I blew a head gasket on the ol' 440 so Im going to fix that and put a new timing chain in there SO.... should I, while im in there put a 89.25mm piston in there or...... put just rings or...... nothing at all? I have had the 440kit for about 2 1/2- 3 years now so I figured I could probley put a new piston in there but everything look good. So what do you guys think I should do while im in the motor? :cool:

you may wan to get new head studs. not sure what to tell you on the piston. i would have a tough time changing it unless you wanted a different bore or compression ratio.

I was thinking about getting new head studs. Do you half to send the cylinder off and have them put in or can I do it myself??

i think a shop needs to put them in. i hear the FDO studs are great.
