Why is it that almost all 2 strokes are kickstart?? ive always wondered this

Beacuse they dont have as much compression as compared to four strokes. And that makes them easier to kick over. Off the top of my head i think banshees are only 6:1 stock. About the only 2 stroke quads that are electric are polaris and mini quads.

so if they get a high compression, how high is the norm?
