I passed the test to become a pipe fitter (union trade job). What do you think would be proper attire for the interview? I don’t think I should wear a tie, because it is a blue-collar job, but I also don’t want to under dress. What do you think would be suitable? Thanks in advance!!!! :)

you can never be overdressed for an interview.

Who is your interview actually with that will make a difference? It is true that you need to dress acuartly for the posision. I would suggest dress pants button up shirt and tie. maybe a sport coat. But I would not go with a full fancy suit for that type of job!
