Nah, there is nothing like holding a tiney Jack Russel in your hand (one hand that is) i call it the calm before the storm.:D

Jack Russell's remind me of Ernest P. Worrell. :D All puppies are cute. I just like the little noses on the wimeys. I don't think I've ever seen a puppy that wasn't cute though. It's so amazing how much puppies grow. I used to be able to hold my 130 pound rottweiler in one hand.

Ha, that's the truth about them! We have one...when he was a puppy you could not hold him at all, aand man do those lil tiny pointy teeth hurt...ouch!:eek2: But their sooo cute tho:blah:

oh you better believe that those teeth are sharp as hell. I remember waking up one morning and i swung my legs out of bed and i stepped right on his K-9 that he had lost that night.
I had a few choice words to say about that tooth.

I love JRT's because they are fearless. They are a Big Dog in a small body and they are very smart. you have to be careful that your not the one being trained.:D

Mine climbs tree's:blah: Well actually...he prunes/thins them up to about 4 feet up. He jumps up and grabs the branches and keep swaying and pushin against the tree until it comes off:eek2: All around my house, dad doesn't have to cuz the bottom braches off no more. Ah I could tell a bunch of stories what he does...but I won't:p

Hey BlackRaptor16,

I see you live in LP and are from Valpo. I'm from LP and went to VU and lived in Valpo after college.

I guess you go to Dick's [It's a bar, fellas]

Tell Howie you talked to Rob Towery on the net and I said you are to get free drinks for the rest of the year. He'll tell you to get lost but it's worth a try. I used to play basketball for the bar back in 93 and 94. We were the Dribblin' Dicks. My Jersey is hanging in my bar. I'm gonna be in MC and LP for 2 weeks this summer, if I see you over there I'll introduce myself. -RT

YEP! Good ol' Dicks! Go there quite a bit, it's where we usually end the night. I'll let him know and see what he says :) . How long ago did you live in LP? Did you go to LP? What year did you graduate? PM me if you are ever going to be in town!

We have a 6yr old beagle and she is the world to us....she gets a little nuts around my 4 yr old nephew (she likes to run around and just goes nuts), but she knows not to jump on him. she really only jumps up on adults. She loves people and kids. We actually just got her a sister from the APL about 2 weeks ago. She is a lab/boxer mix, 1 yrs old, they get along ok...Charli (the lab/boxer) likes to play alot and Patches (beagle) doesn't exactly like that to much, she will play tug of war with Charli but thats about it. :D

Does anyone out there have a lab dog? I got some croky questions for you about her habits......

I love the color on the wiemies but want it on a lab. I have yet to find a breeder that doesnt euthinize the silver lab pups:confused:

If anyone knows where I might find one please let me know.

Soggyrider-
Here is the link to where we got our lab from http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/2670/hlabs.html

Check out this site regarding "silver labradors"...make sure you read it all. "Silver Labs"...they say it is true and false that they result in interbreeding...they haven't determined whether or not they are actually a pure breed or not. Everywhere I have seen the silvers for sale...they are a lot higher in price too..some at like $900. Check out this link for silver ones - http://www.mallardlanelabradors.com/

They take a lot of patience! :eek2:

Woodsrider

Hey, thanks for the link;) I will be in touch with them to get more info. Last thing I read was that the AKC wasnt recognizing the silvers as a purebreed. ( I havent read thier site yet) I read elsewhere that the silver coat was a result of a double ressesive gene in the chocolate line.

Thanks again
